River club is one of the most advantageous areas in the Northern Suburbs of Johannesburg. Property in River club is in close proximity to Sandton property and enjoys being only five minutes away from both the upmarket and business sector CBD, as well as all main arterial highways going North, South, East and West. The shopping facilities are outstanding from the small centres such as Riverside, Morningside, and Bryanston to the large malls such as Sandton City, which boasts the world-famous large bronze statue of Nelson Mandela.

Sporting Facilities include a gym for ladies only in Parkmore, as well as both Planet Fitness and Virgin Active gyms. The exclusive Riverclub Golf Course brings great esteem to the area. Additionally there are local tennis and soccer fields which are municipal and well utilised.

Places of worship include Rosebank Union Church, Bryanston Bible Church, Bryanston Methodist Church and a Mosque. The Sandton Field and Study centre offers many hectares of Savannah Park. Courses in horse riding, languages, painting, pottery, and dog training are offered. There is a country market once a month at the Sandton Field and Study Centre which also houses a delightful casual and child friendly restaurant. There are many other types of restaurants from the finest of French cuisine, Italian, Portuguese and, of course, fast food centres such as McDonalds and Steer’s.
